Mike Brooke - Chairman
Mike was the Founder / Co-Founder of several computer & communications businesses over the last 50 years. Several of these were subsequently acquired, while others were listed on the London Stock Exchange. Mike was a Non-Executive Director of 3 Venture Capital Trusts and has known and worked with Nick Cassidy for 17 years. His experience, guidance and knowledge spur the management team forward to grow and develop Segmentation Group under his watchful supervision.
Nick Cassidy - Chief Executive
Nick is responsible for overseeing the Sales, Technical, Operational, Automation and Financial elements of the Segmentation Group, ensuring all are effectively delivered together. He has a detailed overall understanding of telecoms technology, tariffs and how to take a business from dinosaur to astronaut with its telecoms. With his team, Nick has saved over £17 Million for 200 Major Corporates. Previously consulting Central and Local Government, Health and Educational Organisations, Law Firms, Banks & Major Corporates, he has almost 40 years industry experience. Nick lives in the North West, is married with two daughters and a springer spaniel. He is very approachable and loves telecoms, the theatre and model railways and admits he is a Self-Confessed Telecoms Geek with his own personal telecoms museum with artefacts dating back to the 1930s.
Phil Morley - Head of Analytics
Phil is a Telecoms Tariff and Statistical Analysis Specialist. He is a master at handling large volumes of complex data and presenting the most intricate of scenarios in a very simple to understand format. He has a full understanding of Fixed, Mobile and Data Telecoms Billing across all UK Suppliers. He has over 25 years Industry Experience and worked with Nick Cassidy for over 24 of these years. Phil lives in Blackpool, has four children, coaches an under 12's football team and supports West Ham for his sins.
He is also a keen golfer.
Mark Jackson - Head of IT & Systems
Mark is an IT Consultant, Programmer & Analyst. He is responsible for building Segmentation Group’s Automation Software & Systems. He is an expert in building cloud based database systems. Mark has over 30 years Industry Experience and worked with Nick Cassidy for over 25 of these years. He lives in the North West, is married with three children and loves mountain climbing, walking and cycling.
Steve Gledhill - Finance Director
Steve has over 25 years experience developing and mentoring fast growing businesses. He joined the Segmentation Group board in March 2018 after a long career in the world of corporate finance. Steve is a great believer that people make a business and has a great ability to fuse the different elements of the business together with the financial controls needed. His specialist skills include business and strategic planning, funding, financial reporting and finance management. In his spare time, he counsels ex members of the forces with PTSD. He is a very keen sportsman, particularly golf and football, coaches junior football and a qualified FA coach.
